Cobalt Voice Band
Concept and use cases
The Cobalt Voice Band is a push-to-talk wristband. One button, one microphone, nothing else: press, dictate, release. The request goes to the companion app on your phone, which carries the action out directly on Android.
What matters here is that the assistant genuinely acts on the phone instead of merely replying. Send a message, start some music, jot down an idea, set a reminder or an appointment in the calendar, start navigation, call someone — all things that would normally mean pulling out the phone, finding the right app and filling it in by hand.
The wristband removes that step. The phone can stay in your pocket or your bag.
It's sold as an AI wearable dev kit : working out of the box, but built on a standard board — a XIAO nRF52840 Sense — that you can reflash to make it something else entirely.

The Cobalt Voice Band is finished and on sale on Tindie at €50. The companion app comes free with the wristband: no subscription, no separate purchase.
It's the first object in this series to have crossed into being a product — manufacturable in small runs, reliable, and simple enough to ship as it is.
Planned features
The next version will carry an LED matrix. The wristband will then be able to show the time and a few useful details, without giving up what makes it valuable: a single button, with everything essential going through voice.
